Pay back what you stole. Restore what you damaged. Correct what you wronged. Otherwise, you cannot be truly saved, and God may not receive you.

It sounds holy. It sounds responsible. It even soundsbiblical.

But it is not the gospel.

Restitution is not a biblical requirement for salvation or entrance into heaven. It is, in some cases, a fruit of genuine repentance. In others, it is a Spirit-led response that flows from a changed heart. But it is not a condition. It is not a prerequisite. And treating it as one does not make a person more righteous; it makes the cross less sufficient.

Understand that the moment you gave your life to Christ, you are already deployed.

Jesus said in Luke 19:13, “Occupy till I come.”

Paul gave that command practical shape in Romans 12:11: “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.” and the three things God requires of every redeemed life: vocation, devotion, and service to humanity.

Why does God leave believers on earth after salvation? What does your work say about your witness? Can spiritual activity replace true devotion? And can anyone truly serve God while ignoring people?

There is a very powerful revelation I want to show you fromthe Book of Romans, chapter 6.

Verse 6 says, “Reckon yourselves to be dead indeed tosin.”

That one statement holds the key to your victory, and I will show you in a moment.

It argues that the "fateful day" of the end-time church involves a rebellion against God's will, driven by a desire for immediate success and self-sufficiency, similar to the prodigal son's premature demand for his inheritance.

It also contends that many contemporary religious leaders, referred to as "anointed prodigals," dispense "ill-gotten wealth" in the form of miracles, prosperity, and motivational messages that are not aligned with true spiritual teaching. These "husks" of spiritual food are seen as leading believers away from genuine repentance and humility, pushing them toward a worldly pursuit of power and gain.

Ultimately, the text serves as a warning against "seducing spirits" and doctrines of devils prevalent in the modern religious landscape, urging a return to authentic faith and a humble walk with God.

1. Every word is recorded in heaven and will be accounted for in judgment.

2. "Idle words" are not merely profanity but also careless, useless, or unkind speech that carries eternal consequences.

3. Words are powerful tools, capable of creating or destroying, reflecting God's own creative power.

4. Mindfulness and intentionality in communication, offering practical advice such as pausing before speaking, praying for guidance, and filtering words through criteria of truth, necessity, and kindness.

5. Use words to speak life and reflect God's love.

"With the merciful Thou wilt shew Thyself merciful; with an upright man Thou wilt shew Thyself upright; With the pure Thou wilt shew Thyself pure; and with the froward Thou wilt shew Thyself froward." (Psalm 18:25-26)

Great men like Abraham, Moses, David—even the disciples of Jesus and Peter himself—all had their moments. Think about it: failure is often just a setup for a comeback. Every failure or disappointment, if properly addressed, can position or reposition you for astounding success.

This parable is a very powerful lesson on stewardship and accountability. It teaches us about using what God has given us for His glory.

Here are five key lessons we can draw from this parable to apply to our lives at the moment:

1. God has given everyone a talent

No matter how small it may seem, God has placed a gift or a talent in every one of us, just like the servants in the parable. Some may have received more, some less, but everyone has been entrusted with something valuable.

Today, ask yourself: What has God placed in my hands?

The Bible says in Romans 12:6:
"We have different gifts according to the grace given to each of us."

Your gift is according to your grace, the grace the Lord has determined you can handle. The Bible says God is so gracious that He will give grace before glory. Because if God were to give glory without grace, the glory could overwhelm you.

2. Your talent matches your ability

We often fall into the trap of comparing our talent to other people’s. But in the parable, Jesus teaches us that God gives us according to our ability.

So, look at your talent. If you have what you consider a small talent, be grateful because God has deemed that it is what you can effectively use. He doesn't give you something that will crush you under its weight.

Instead of comparing yourself to others, focus on what you’ve been given and how you can use it for His glory and His Kingdom.

In Luke 12:48, it says,
"To whom much is given, much is required."

3. Faithfulness brings reward

The faithful servant who wisely invested his talents was rewarded—with more responsibility. Jesus said in the book of John,
"The tree that bears fruit is pruned so it can bear more fruit."

God is not just concerned with the size of your gift but with how faithful you are with it. He cannot entrust you with more until you are faithful with what you’ve already been given.

When you use what He has given you, even in small ways, it will increase your capacity.

4. Fear is an obstacle to progress

Take a moment to look at the servant who buried his talent—he was paralyzed by fear. He was afraid to fail, afraid to lose what was given to him. How often do we allow fear to stop us from using the gifts God has given to us?

Remember the two blind men who cried out to Jesus for mercy, even though the crowd tried to silence them?
When the crowd or circumstances tell you to be quiet, that’s the time to shout louder.

Don’t let fear of failure or comparison keep you from stepping out in faith. Break the fear mindset! The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind.

5. We are accountable to God for our talents

The master in the parable returned and asked the servants to give an account of how they used their talents. One day, you and I will stand before God to give an account of how we’ve used the gifts He has placed in our lives.

You've got a gift inside of you. There is something you can do better than anyone else. Don’t let that gift lie dormant.

Reflect on these lessons
Take a moment today to consider what talent God has entrusted into your hands, not only for your sake but for the sake of others and for the glory of God. Are you using your talent to its full potential, or are you letting it go unused?

Ask God for courage to step out in faith and commit your talent to His service. As you do this, He will empower you to do even more.

Because if we know the character of God, then we can know His integrity.

One of the things that makes the integrity of God or makes God God—I mean the very core and nature of God—is that He does not change. He is the unchanging changer.

So, if God has healed before, and He does not change, it means He's healing now and will heal again.

Why?

Because He does not change.

There is historical, biblical, and recent evidence that God still heals. And the Bible says God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. It is a character of God we can depend on.

I pray that you will experience the hand of the unchanging changer in your life, in Jesus' name.

When we allow the spirit of the Lord in our heart to lead us through life, we will have the liberty that Jesus won for us on Calvary.

The liberty and freedom is ours but the enemy will try to play the fast one and try to take what is originally ours. We must not allow him.

In Gal 5:1, we are told to "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."

We have been made free; let us claim, assert, and enforce the freedom by telling the devil what he cannot do to us. and let us run away from sins and other things that my give the enemy the boldness to want to challenge our freedom and liberty in Christ.

Continue to walk in liberty in Jesus' name.

In Acts Chapter 14, Paul and Barnabas were preaching in the city of Iconium and there were miracles, signs, and wonders.

However, their fellow Jews in the city stirred up hatred against them among the Gentiles and sponsored stoning them to death.

They fled, abandoning their mission.

The deadliest assault and attack is always from the inside. Most fruits get rotten from the inside out. It took Judas to betray Jesus.

Be spiritually discerned! Pray that God would upturn the plots of friendly enemies around you in Jesus' name.
